      • When booting up, during the log on screen, I get the following error message; svchost.exe- Application Error X- The instruction at"0x7c918fea" refferenced memory at "0x00000010". The memory could not be "written". Click on OK to terminate the program. Click on cancel to debug. I try to do both functions but still error every time when booting up.

      • VSS 2005; version 8.0.50727.42 Sometimes when executing "show differences", VSS crashes and quits. I can choose to send Microsoft an error report. Message: Microsoft(R) Visual Source Safe Explorer encountered a problem etc.etc. Recently, we upgraded from VSS 6.0d. Then we never saw this behaviour, only after upgrading to VSS 2005.
